As an author, she shares her personal journey of resilience in her book “Belonging – The Tale of an Orphaned Girl” written to inspire hope and strength in those facing adversity.

At home, she is a wife and mother of three — her family is her first classroom, where she develops and tests the tools she now shares with wider communities.

My Story

I was orphaned at a young age, and for a long time, I felt like I didn’t belong. But through the care of family, the support of mentors, and my own determination, I found strength, purpose, and a place where I could thrive.

That experience shaped who I am today.

As an HR Manager, I’ve spent over a decade building systems that help people feel seen, valued, and supported at work.

As a mother and founder, I now apply the same care to children — especially those who feel forgotten or unseen.

I started The Runga Foundation Uganda to give children what I once longed for: a safe space, a listening ear, and the confidence to believe in themselves. Every program we run is rooted in real-life experience, built first within my own family and then extended to the community.

I wrote “Belonging – The Tale of an Orphaned Girl” because I believe our stories have power. If my journey can give one child the courage to keep going, then it’s worth sharing.

My Mission:

To create a world where every child feels safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Through The Runga Foundation, I provide mentorship, counselling, and practical life skills that help children build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. I believe that when children are supported early, they grow into strong, compassionate adults who contribute positively to their families and communities.
